Pursue Financial Technology

  • With Georgia serving as the global hub for digital payment processing, Financial Technology (FinTech) majors are trained to immediately contribute to this growing industry. They will learn about financial systems, coding for financial technology, and applied cybersecurity. Qualities such as persistence and attention to detail serve them well as they think logically to solve problems.
  • Math is an essential skill for majors since math functions as the alphabet for any computer coding. This major includes an Accounting course. Core courses will introduce students to the different ways we have of knowing the world and connect them to the big questions that drive their future and provide the essential skills needed to succeed.
  • This degree can be completed fully online or with a mix of on-campus and online courses.
  • GHC’s Associate of Science degree in Financial Technology is a good step to break into the FinTech industry while also serving as a good foundation for a future bachelor’s degree in any non-stem field.
