Pursue Criminal Justice

  • Criminal Justice majors desire to learn about law enforcement and the legal system, through academic and practical means. They want to understand and apply laws in fair and just ways to address criminal behavior to improve society.
  • Criminal Justice courses require written and critical thinking skills. Behavioral Science courses equip majors to recognize why humans engage in particular behaviors. Elementary Statistics equips majors to analyze data sets (economic, population, etc.).
  • Criminal Justice courses are delivered through GHC online (2000-level) and through eMajor (3000 & 4000 levels. eMajor is an online USG collective). Core Curriculum courses can be completed either on campus or online.
  • GHC’s bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and gaining the educational credentials to advance in a career in law enforcement or attend law school.
