Your eLearning Course: What to expect

1. This is not your parent's college course.

In your eLearning class, you will not meet as many times face-to-face as you would in a traditional class. You will spend a lot of time on the computer because this is where you will find many of your readings and assignments. You will also use the Internet to interact with your classmates and instructor on the course discussion board. You will be responsible for doing your readings and staying on track with assignments.  In a hybrid class, you will see you instructor on a regular basis, usually once a week, at the scheduled class meetings.  However, in the online and DVD classes you will see your instructor in person only a few times - the instructor will guide you but will not be standing up in front of a classroom delivering lectures.
