New Students for Summer 2016:
A 2015-2016 FAFSA must be on file with our office, ALL outstanding requirements and any requests for additional information MUST be satisfied by April 1st to be guaranteed an award before the Fee Payment Deadline.
The office of financial aid processes documents on a continuous bases, however, if your file is not complete prior to March 1st we cannot guarantee you will be awarded in time for the Fee Payment Deadline.
The office of financial aid may need additional information or documentation once your file is in the reviewing stage. It is the student’s responsibility to keep an eye out for notifications from our office regarding your file.
Our office will contact you through the following methods:
Message on your CHECK MY AID STATUS link in SCORE
E-mail you through your GHC e-mail account and the e-mail listed on your FAFSA
Your aid will not show credited on your Student Account until after the start of the semester and enrollment is finalized. Aid can be seen as Authorized Aid on the SCHEDULE/BILL.
Once you are awarded aid, you must check to verify that your aid covers your entire balance. If not, you may still have to make a payment to cover your charges for the semester.
Please monitor your SCHEDULE/BILL prior to all Fee Payment Deadlines and after any schedule adjustments to ensure your balance is still covered in full.
Have you selected your preferred method of refund through Higher One? Please select the Business Office through GHC 411 with any Higher One or Refund questions.
Do you have a balance due for Fall? Check your balance by clicking here SCHEDULE/BILL.
The Business Office issues refunds via the preferred refund method selected through Higher One.
Timeframe: Once aid is credited onto the student's account, the Business Office will issue refunds within 14 days via the refund preference selected on your Higher One Account.
