1.  Your course homepage is the center for location all of the information that you need in a course.
 Below you will see a sample homepage.  [Please scroll down. ]

2.  In the upper left corner of the homepage, you will notice it indicates the page you are currently on.  In addition, you will notice a GO TO box that lets you jump to other pages in the course.

3.  In the upper right corner, you will notice links to the course Calendar, Syllabus, Assessments, Mail, and More Tool. During the first week of class, you must select, read, and explore the content associated with each of these links.

4.  You will see at least three folders on the homepage.  The first and most important of these is the Course Content folder.  ECore courses are organized by Units with most courses having four to nine Units.  The Course Content folder is where you will find information on the material to be covered in each Unit and the assignments associated with each Unit.  It is critically important that you open this folder the first day of class and every week thereafter.

5.  The second folder that you will see is a Resources folder.  In this folder you will find additional items that your instructor believes will be helpful to your learning.

6. The third item on the homepage is a link to the Proctored Examination Information.   Be sure to look in your Syllabus as to when your proctored exams will be held.  Then, follow the instruction at this link to the process of signing up for and taking your exams.

7.  Occasionally, an instructor may provide a link to a specific course component or other material which he or she feels is especially important for you not to miss.  It is suggested that you always enter this item as soon as possible.
