We are delighted that you have taken the first step in getting to know more about Georgia Highlands College. For nearly 40 years, this institution of higher education has been preparing students for transfer to four-year institutions around the state of Georgia and beyond. We currently provide educational opportunities to over 5,000 students at five campuses in the Northwest region of the state.
In Cobb County, we represent the two-year college access point to the University System of Georgia. Located in the Cobb county seat of Marietta (GA), we are the higher education choice for over 1,000 students. Our small class sizes, academic classrooms and labs serve as incubators for critical thinking and scholarly dialogue, and are nestled on the campus of SPSU. Many of our students have used our rich resources and rigorous coursework as a platform to transfer to Georgia's top institutions. As an added benefit of GHC-Marietta's collegiate experience, students can live on campus and participate in myriad activities and events. So whether you are interested in playing intramural sports or joining one of our student organizations, our academic collaborations have made it possible.
