The Georgia Highlands College Advisory Council will present its 10th Annual Managing Human Resources Seminar on Tuesday August 11th. The seminar will be held at our Georgia Highlands College Cartersville Campus on HWY 20 in Cartersville. The Seminar will be in room 160 on the 1st floor of our academic building.
This seminar is for anyone who manages, supervises or leads employees. Please open attached brochure to see the seminar agenda. We have assembled an impressive lineup of speakers.

THIS YEAR THE SEMINAR WILL FOCUS ON: Recruiting, Training and Retaining Talent in a Competitive Labor Market
This year’s seminar will include the following topics:
• Obtaining training funds for new and incumbent workers under the new WIA/WIOA thru The Governor’s Office of Workforce Development (GOWD).
• Attracting and Retaining Talent
• Creating a Bully Free Workplace Environment
• Labor Attorney, Dan Murphy, will again be with us to discuss the latest hot legal issues.
