Long-term Disability Insurance

There are two options offered for LTD. One option has a 3 month waiting period. The annual premium is $.30/$100 of annual base salary for employees participating in the Optional Retirement Program, and $.52/$100 for employees participating in the Teacher Retirement Program. The second option has a 5 month waiting period with a premium of $.22/$100 for Optional Retirement participants, and $.24/$100 for Teacher Retirement participants. The LTD benefit is 60% of monthly salary up to a maximum monthly benefit of $7,500.
