Faculty/Staff Outreach and Consultation

Our staff is available to present workshops/seminars for campus organizations/groups, to classes, and for faculty and staff. Topics generally range from personal growth issues, academic performance enhancement, stress management, to career development and job search related areas. Programs may take a variety of forms such as: classroom presentations, workshops for organizations/groups, and/or co-sponsorship of an event open to the campus community. While many of these have been offered before, we also enjoy designing and presenting other topics that can be tailored to the needs of your class or group.

Counselors are also available for consultation with faculty and staff of GHC who are concerned about specific situations or individuals, or about their own needs.

When faculty have to be out of the classroom…

…instead of canceling classes, contact us to offer a seminar instead. Our staff can provide students with a wealth of useful tips and strategies that can help them be successful in college and beyond. So call or email the Counseling and Careers Services Department to schedule a session for when you will be out.
