Minority Acheivement Program

The Minority Achievement Program (MAP) at Georgia Highlands College is intended to supplement, not replace, standard academic advising activities. MAP provides motivation for academic success, programs on topics of interest, and helpful information on study skills, financial aid, careers and college majors, and courses of special interest to minority students.

MAP offers opportunities for interaction with other minority students on campus and between minority and majority students. MAP encourages participation in extracurricular activities, including clubs like the Cultural Awareness Society. MAP is here to make the college experience as complete and successful as possible.

For more information call Ms. Judy Sims or Mr. Ken Reaves, MAP Coordinators.
